Privacy.

Your name, email, and the answers you give during onboarding (skin type, top concern, climate, age, identity, allergies, goal). The photos you take inside the app, of your shelf and your face. The day-to-day notes and check-ins you write yourself.

We collect basic usage data so the app keeps working, things like which screens you opened and when. We do not track you around the web.

To give you a real reading. Your photos are sent to our analysis partner (Anthropic) to read what is on your shelf and your skin, and that reading comes back to you inside the app. Your onboarding answers shape the recommendations you see.

We use this data to operate the app, to improve it, and to talk to you when you ask us to. We do not sell it.

On Supabase, on encrypted servers. Your photos sit in private storage that only your account can read. Our team can access your data when you ask for support, when we are debugging an issue, or when the law asks us to.

You. Anthropic, briefly, when the photo is being read by their model. Our small team, only when you ask for help or we are checking that the app is working. No one else.

Anthropic does not train on your photos. They process them to return a reading, then drop them.

You can read, export, and delete your own data at any time. From the Profile screen you can update your reading, sign out, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, your check-ins, your photos, and your readings.

If you are in Singapore, the PDPA applies. If you are in Europe or the UK, the GDPR applies. The same rights apply to you here.

For as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, except where the law asks us to keep records (for example, payment receipts).

BeFound is for adults. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

When we update this policy in any meaningful way, we will let you know inside the app. The current version is dated April 2026.
